Download songs from YouTube
To download songs from YouTube we are going to use the Music From YouTube program. Open Music From YouTube program and type your search query in the YouTube search bar, just like you would normally do on YouTube. You can enter your favorite singer, group, celebrity, movie star or comedian. Now click on the search button on the right side of the YouTube search field.
The results will now be displayed under the search field. The Music From YouTube program will display blue “Download mp3” buttons next to the small pictures in the search result. Now find the song, concert, show or even language course of your liking and press the blue button to start the download. This will immediately start the download. A message at the top of the Music From YouTube program shows you that the download has started.
Follow the progress of the download by clicking on the tab button “Downloads” on the left side of Music From YouTube. The green progress bar next to the title of the file indicates the progress of the download. Once the file is finished downloading, the download will automatically disappear from the list.
All downloaded files will automatically be stored by the Music From YouTube program in your “My Music” folder. Just open this folder by clicking on the yellow folder button at the top of the Music From YouTube program.
If you would like to download several songs, just continue to search and click on the blue buttons until you have downloaded all the songs you like. You are now ready to transfer the downloaded music files to your mobile phone!
How to put downloaded songs on mobile phone
To start transferring the songs you have just downloaded to your mobile phone, first connect your phone to your computer via the USB-port. You need a USB-cable for this, which was probably included when you bought your phone. If this is not the case you can buy one at an electronics store or on the internet.
Make sure that the driver of your mobile phone is installed, so that the computer can detect your phone. Again, this driver was probably included when you bought your phone. If this was not the case or if you can’t find it anymore you need to download the driver for your specific phone. Go to the “support” section of the website of your phone manufacturer (e.g Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Sony Ericsson) and look for “drivers” or “downloads”. Find the driver for the mobile phone you are using and download it. After downloading the driver, start the setup and follow the steps on the installation screen.
Now that you have installed the driver for your mobile phone and you have connected your phone via the USB-cable, your computer should now be telling you that a new USB device has been connected. You need to make sure that your phone is on, otherwise your computer will not be able to detect it! Go to “My Computer” (or just “Computer” in Windows 7) and you will see a new removable drive in the list of drives. Double click on this drive to open it.
Now click on the Windows Start button at the bottom-left of the screen (just the windows logo in Windows 7) and click on “My Music” (or just “Music” in Windows 7). This is the folder where the songs you downloaded with Music From YouTube are stored. You can select the songs by holding the Ctrl key and then left clicking on each song you want to send to your mobile phone. When you are finished selecting, hold the Ctrl key and press the letter “c”. Now release the Ctrl key and click on the other window where you opened your mobile phone drive. To place the selected songs on your mobile phone drive, just hold the Ctrl button and press the letter “v” and then release Ctrl. You will notice the computer starts copying your music files to your mobile phone.
When the computer has finished copying, unplug the USB cable. Now select the music area from the menu of your mobile phone and you will see all the songs you just transferred to your phone! Now you can play and listen to the songs as much as you want!
